Most clients attend 6 to 8 sessions in total. Following the initial consultation, many choose to book ‘check-in’ appointments over the next 12-30 weeks, as and when they are required.
The approach is designed to help clients develop enough confidence, resilience and self-awareness to ultimately manage their own habits without any external support.
Sessions involve casual discussions, practical goal-setting and sometimes mind-mapping. They take place at The Charterhouse Clinic or over Skype.
Unlike some more traditional talking therapies, my sessions are very much aimed at ‘handing over’ tools, techniques and suggestions, much like a coach. Clients often find it useful to bring along a pad and pen to make a note of references and actions.
Payment is made prior to each session by bank transfer. Details are provided via email, alongside a short questionnaire.
Sessions can be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance at no charge. A late cancellation fee of £50 per hour applies thereafter.
Due to high demand for both sessions and therapy rooms, I kindly ask that clients confirm appointments as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.
There is currently a 2-3 month waiting list for face-to-face sessions, however Skype appointments can usually be booked sooner for clients who are able to be flexible with timings.
